Vacancy for attorney in the Refugee and Migrants Rights Programme
LHR’s Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme is seeking a lawyer with human rights experience in its Musina office in Limpopo .
Gauteng Remuneration package will be commensurate with experience.

Key responsibilities:
- monitoring of the deportation process and the treatment of detainees who held pending deportation to
- Legal assistance to asylum seekers and migrant workers in that region;
- Liaise with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and other relevant international and local stakeholders;
- Assist in preparing matters for litigation.
Minimum requirements:
- Legal qualification with relevant legal experience;
- Working computer knowledge and internet literacy;
- Commitment to human rights and a willingness to obtain knowledge of international and domestic refugee law and practice;
- Valid driver’s licence;
- Willingness to work in a challenging environment;
